The Challenge

George Foreman was a household name in the 1990s and early 2000s, with over 100 million grills sold worldwide by the early 2000s. However, reviving this success in the modern age of marketing was proving difficult for the brand. The goal was to take over and relaunch it to a whole new audience on TikTok Shop.

The strategy revolved around reigniting nostalgia while introducing the brand to a younger audience who weren’t familiar with George Foreman products. Despite the historical craze around this brand, they found it challenging to stand out among other major players in the small appliances marketplace.

Our approach

1 Heavily led by a strong content strategy and nostalgia marketing
2 Reintroduced the brand from the bottom upwards, creating ‘throwback’ video content around old recipes and fun, relatable content.
3 Implemented a successful affiliate strategy, now reaching 4,000 affiliates for George Foreman.

Results

£40k Revenue achieved in the first month (4x the KPI).
£85k Revenue generated by month three (9x the KPI).
Multiple viral and sold-out products.

What were the KPIs?

The client was hoping to generate at least 10k a month within the first three months of launching.  Our goal was clear: put George Foreman back in people’s minds and, ultimately, back into their homes for a brand resurgence.
